ABOUT

Savannah is a striking chestnut mare who was rescued from Bago State Forest in August 2020. There was some question about whether Savannah was actually a brumby as she came to us with a cropped tail and good understanding of what a feed bucket is, however it quickly became clear that she was very wild and unhandled.

Savannah is a calm natured mare who is very independent, happily grazing by herself or with her daughter Ginger, who was born on 16 December 2020. But whatever she's doing, she always keeps her herd in sight.
